TL;DR: Press Ctrl+K, search for the app, and click "View all reviews".
Viewing an app's reviews is surprisingly difficult on the modern App Store. Here's how to do it anyway.
Method 1: AppDelta
- Go to AppDelta
- Click Search App Store, or go to https://appdelta.io/app/id
- On the right side of the screen (or by scrolling down on mobile) you will find the Reviews pane. Click "View all" at the top.
- You will now be able to see all reviews in the US storefront for your app
You can load more reviews by scrolling down or searching for something specific. We support filtering and sorting by rating, and sorting by date or helpfulness score.
By default we only show reviews in the US storefront. You can change to our other supported storefront, Germany, by replacing the "us" in the URL with "de". Support for more storefronts is coming soon! You can let us know which countries you need the most in our community discord.
Method 2: AppDelta Query Explorer (for advanced users)
- Navigate to the Query Explorer on our website
- Change to the Reviews tab in the filter section
- Add an "App ID" filter to select for the ID of your app
- (Optional) choose any additional filters and sort target/direction.
- Execute query
You will be presented with a grid of reviews for the selected app, including date, app version, reviewer username, developer response, and helpfulness score.
The most powerful feature of the Query Explorer is the export button. Press Export in the top right to export up to 10,000 reviews at a time in CSV format for your own analysis.
Method 3: App Store Website
This is an obvious one but we'll include it for completion :3
- Go to the App Store details page of your app, example: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trackify-for-spotify-stats/id6479672156
- Click the Ratings & Reviews subheading
- You'll be able to see a grid of the top 6 currently visible reviews
This method only gets you the top 6 reviews but supports any storefront. It includes developer responses but not helpfulness score, sorting, or filtering.
Conclusion
That's it. If you need to export reviews in bulk or track them over time, AppDelta's free tier covers most use cases.
